FRIENDS OF SCOUTING CAMPAIGN

It's time once again for the annual "Friends of Scouting" campaign. FOS is one of the best ways to show your support of Scouting in south Arkansas. Friends of Scouting helps the De Soto Area Council provide programs and services. Without donations from yourself and other concerned individuals, we would not be able to offer financial assistance such as camperships and help with registration fees. We would not even be able to keep Camp De Soto open.

Your donation of at least $100 will entitle you to one of our VERY limited edition FOS council shoulder patches. Besides, it will give you a great feeling to know that you are helping boys throughout our 11 county council boundaries. If your Boy Scout Troop or Cub Scout Pack has not scheduled a Friends of Scouting presentation, you should schedule presentations immediately. A FOS presenter will make a brief presentation at your Troop court of honor or Pack meeting. Please contact the Boy Scout office at 863-5166 and let us know your meeting date and time.
